About us

168 Whisky Club brings together people from across the business and professional community for informal networking, good conversation and exceptional whisky.

Our club has grown from a small gathering into a thriving whisky networking community with over 350 members.

Membership is open to anyone who shares a passion for whisky and a purpose in business.

Tasting sessions

Each monthly tasting is hosted by a distillery, blender, independent bottler or whisky society.

This gives members the chance to hear directly from people working across the industry while enjoying a carefully selected line-up of drams.

We intentionally limit attendance at individual tastings to preserve the personal feel that makes the evenings what they are. We hold tastings at 168 Bath Street and occasionally beyond, including a 70-guest tasting at Barclays in Glasgow.

Interested in becoming a member?

The 168 Whisky Club meets monthly, and while attendance to tasting sessions is limited, membership is open to professionals.

Whether you’re a seasoned whisky drinker or just beginning to explore it, you’re welcome here. Some people don’t enjoy whisky until they savour it through a step-by-step sensory experience – and that’s exactly what our tastings are designed to do.

If you’re interested in joining, we’d be happy to hear from you.
